Tricks at RIC

The pumpkins were then used to decorate the Boarders Common room to make it more “halloweeny”.

On the 31st of October Boarding staff and students shared a good amount of laughs at the Halloween Night party. Following last year’s successful evening, this year’s boarders came really prepared for the outfit/dress up competition.  The Joker seemed to be the most popular choice, together with a Scooby Doo gang. It was extremely difficult to vote for someone in particular to win, but students’ enthusiastic applauses declared the scariest mask, the funniest outfit and of course the best costume of the night.

Students also had a go at apple bobbing, picking chocolates from a bowl of flour and tinned spaghetti and also making mummies out of toilet paper in pairs. Needless to say, all the mummies were beautifully wrapped!

It was very pleasing to see such a good number of students mixing together in this lively event. The pictures speak for themselves.
