The second month of our photography contest has certainly kept our RIC students busy. With two themes to choose from, this photography contest will run monthly with a theme based on relevant events of the time.
Are you a RIC student or staff member who has a passion for photography? Then you should enter our RIC Photo of the Month contest.
Each month there are two themes to work with and photos can be taken on any device available. Be experimental playing around with closeups, zoom, shadow, composition, colour etc.
The contest has three categories; Lower School, Sixth Form & Staff.

20th May, Midday (12pm) Winners announced via the school’s blogs after judging by Michael Daks.
Winning entries will be featured on our RIC Visual Arts Blog & student winners (one per category) will also receive an experimental photography book full of projects to inspire!

The year 11 Art and Photography students ventured out of the college and headed off to sunny (rainy) Margate. The sun was definitely not shining but we headed out with our jackets on and cameras at the ready, in search of lots of intersecting research and material for their personal projects.
