School is for growing

Year 7 students have made posters for Anti-Bullying week 2021 in an effort to help youngsters faced with bullying. In France, Anti-Bullying day is on the 5th November so we looked at different posters and translated them before students went on to do their own. They had a vote and chose the best 5 ones, which are displayed in common areas.

The posters mean: “School is for growing, not suffering” and “Stop bullying”

Last week our year 8 students visited Cobham Hall school to watch a Spanish play with a group of students. It was a collaboration with the Language Faculty where the children enjoyed the play and some even participated. One of them even had a few lines to say; including the student’s shoe (as seen in the picture). Another also helped a little by holding a mirror for one of the characters to see “How cool he looked!” There was then a Q&A session at the end.
