Recently, our year 10 bronze participants have been preparing for their expedition with a series of training days hosted by Copperhouse Adventure Training. Students have been practicing putting up tents in the garden, reading maps and developing first aid skills on day 1. During day 2 students practiced packing kit bags, started planning their routes and even cooked their own lunch on a Trangia. Students described the days as really enjoyable and feel prepared for their practice walks in May.
