Peter Tatchell Talk

On 31st January, prominent human rights activist Peter Tatchell gave an inspiring talk to our students. He spoke to them about the importance of direct action to encourage change in the political system. He told inspiring stories of his own activism including a citizen’s arrest of Robert Mugabe and highlighting the action taken against homophobic priests. The students ask a number of questions about how the political system could be improve in Peter’s opinion and how they could become more involved in activism.
